This update from Tide owner Mike Jennings:

"At this time, I can tell you that there is no current movement in that direction from Tacoma. That said, we are still looking to move the club forward in terms of relationships with professional teams and acquiring new investors. The only news is that of Kitsap to the PDL.

All is well, overall. Jon and I are working on our sponsorship base and planning our trip to the USL AGM later this month in Tampa.

We will have a number of players going to Charleston for the USL Combine in December. Unofficially, I believe Daniel Scott, Jordan Jennings, Spencer Schomacher and Brayton Knapp have been accepted."

Nope. I am hoping to get someone from the Tide to keep us updated on the internet somehow.

If the matches had been locally, then Tide fans would have been able to attend. Maybe next year.

Fresno is the 'Evil Empire' who outbids the rest and uses NAIA players to schedule matches against MLS clubs in the PDL offseason. In other words...things I wish the Tide were doing! ;)

Hey, it's Jon from the SFV Quakes here. I honestly had no idea you disliked Fresno so much! I mean, I remember Ciaran O'Brien's red card in the playoffs last year, and that it all ended somewhat controversially... but yeah. Will you be coming down to support Tide next weekend?

Just got an email from Marian, owner of the Tacoma Stars...

"Practices are going well, I know everyone is talking about Seattle being the team to beat. We will see after this weekend.

The scoring has changed this year. PASL rule 10.2 Scoring: 2 points for a goal. 3 point for a long distance goal. If an arena has a 3 point arc, use it. If it does not but has the 3rd line markings, use this for the 3 point scoring line. If a facility does not have either, all goals are 2 points. Should make for some exciting games.

Hope to see you on the 15th when we host Wenatchee. We are working on some Tacoma Stars give away nights, I will keep you posted."

So...the MISL scoring rules will be in affect...
